How did this patient hear about Platinum Ridge? Children’s Hospital

Lilly arrived to Platinum Ridge in result of an elective right femur shortening procedure. Upon arrival, she was apprehensive in joining our community with being a younger adult. After connecting with Lilly and reassuring her that she could make incredible strides at Platinum Ridge, she felt comfortable with her experience and very much enjoyed our daily programming. She was very much fond of the recreational team and their provided activities. She also really enjoyed talking to the other residents and hearing their stories.

Upon evaluation, physical therapy was needed for all activities of daily living and supervision for ambulation and transfers. Throughout her short seven day stay, she made great gains. She demonstrated independence with feeding, grooming, and bed mobility. She performed all transfers and ambulation with modified independence with use of a front wheeled walker. Team Platinum Ridge is very happy to share that Lilly discharged home just in time for the holidays with those that she loves. Congratulations, Lilly on your incredible successes while at Platinum Ridge! Happy Holidays!
